What’s included in this set of digital butterfly activities?

This butterfly set, which is pre-loaded into Google Slides and Seesaw, includes an informational ebook/video. Following the e-book are four interactive butterfly slides.

Here’s what you’ll get:

✅ An informational ebook about butterflies

This simple reader includes basic facts about the butterfly’s life cycle, body parts, and more. In the Google Slides version, this ebook is included with a slide for each of the 11 pages. Students can click for audio on each slide. In the Seesaw version, the ebook is recorded in video form. (The video is also available in the Google Slides version for students who are unable to access the audio on Slides.)

✅ Four interactive slides

➡️ A drag-and-drop “Can/Have/Are” Chart
In this comprehension and pre-writing activity, students drag features of butterflies into the appropriate columns of the chart.

➡️ A “Butterflies can/have/are…” writing organizer
Students choose features from the previous slide to extend into three sentences about butterflies.

➡️ A fillable, themed writing page for students to type an informational piece of writing.
Students type one or more complete sentences about butterflies onto an “All About Butterflies” slide.

➡️ a drag-and-drop butterfly life cycle
Students drag images of a butterfly’s life cycle stages into the correct sections of a life cycle chart.

The activity pages are included in printable form as well.
