Here’s what’s included:
In this set, you’ll find 115 printable CVC words practice pages to help your students develop strong encoding and decoding skills. Students will have opportunities to blend and segment a variety of CVC words as they find and produce words to match easy-to-understand pictures. Within each of the nine worksheet styles, you will find some that cover a single medial short vowel sound and some that allow for mixed practice (of two or all five short medial vowels).
Fun for parties or whole-class or small-group phonics practice, these CVC bingo cards provide students with practice decoding 60 consonant-vowel-consonant words. This pack includes 30 cards in each of six sets—each medial vowel (a, e, i, o, and u) and all the vowels mixed together. It includes 60 printable calling cards and two versions of digital (Google Slides) calling cards.
The two included CVC center tasks allow students to put sounds together and take them apart to read and spell CVC words. Use magnetic letters, letter tiles, or dry erase markers for the spelling (encoding) center and the included picture cards for the reading (decoding) center.

The six illustrated scenes in this set each incorporate images representing several CVC words. Presented in a variety of formats, these scenes offer children opportunities to decode and encode CVC words, as well as to incorporate them into their writing. Useful as centers, in small groups, or as independent practice, the game-like design of these activities engages and motivates students.
